Hello everyone,

I realise i have not written here in a while , not too sure why I guess life just happened!there are a few things i wanted to address , and not my usual shopping obsession (although I am beyond exited about the 70’s look making a comeback for fall)but just really random topics that i cannot seem to shake off.

A few weeks ago I was stressing about work a lot and the that feeling you get when you are not too sure what the future holds for you in your workplace! I was walking with my BFF and discussing these fears and she said one thing (well a couple of things) that kinda stuck with me.Just to give you a bit of context this was the day prior to our big boss coming into our offices to make an “announcement”, so my BFF said if HR walk in its not a good sign and when one door closes another one opens,I’m thinking to myself sureee!!! But most importantly , as a real best friend would say she said f*** them if anything happens to you we’ll get through it…so the next morning i show up to work and half an hour passes …HR walks in  im thinking shit , i just have enough time to delete my personal things from my documents (note to self: really don’t keep anything personal on your work pc)

I immediately text her and comes waltzing in our big boss, asks to go for a coffee with couple of coworkers and just like that announces half of the staff is being let go, my first thought is thank god it wasnt me, and to quote , yet again my best friend, “this time i wasn’t kicked off the island (survivor people !!!)

Which leads me to my second thought :The importance of a plan B

I don’t know if its a raised by single mom thing but , we can never rely on our current status cause things can really change overnight!

So now I’m thinking to myself , OMG i need a plan B quick , what so i quickly revamp my CV and there is go sending off to everything imaginable…then i stop for a second and think , do i really want to be doing what Im doing for the rest of my life , or do i want to do what i love and built the success slowly , because i am a firm believer that when you love something you do it well, and eventually you will receive the recognition for it (I sound way too serious right  not) but its true !!!so here i am , sitting here and typing and thinking to myself , this is my plan B , i want to talk to the world and share everything that comes through my mind!

That being said here is my final topic i wanted to share, I work in a down town office , and those who know me well are well aware that aside from my boyfriend, family, best friend, and shopping I love dogs.dogs. I am a sucker for small breeds , large breeds , mixed breeds any breed, i just love them , they make me happy and bring a lot of joy to a family and a household.

One thing that i cannot stand , aside from all the unfairness in the world, its animal cruelty , i just cannot tolerate it , and i know some people are going to be like “what about humans , blah blah blah” that’s a given people obviously if can’t stand animal cruelty i can’t stand  crimes against humanity either , but right now i just want to focus on his…back to my down-town work , so as i walk to my office there is a quite a homelessness problem , which, my 16 year old self wanted to save the world but my … current self  realises that there are a lot of services offered for these particular youngsters who are pan-handling on the streets over here, but when i see people with their dogs that just ticks me right off , i saw this young guy , in his twenties , in the scorching heat with a sign that ready “spear some change for a beer” with a dog laying on the side walk on his back , i though he was dead !!!  thinking , if you can’t take care of yourself , why the hell are you brining an innocent animal with you …really!!! that is not okay !!!!i can hear the whispers  of people as I am  saying this but come on people i someone cant afford to have a roof over there heads why would they walk around with an innocent dog , probably malnourished , probably never taken to a vet …that just ticks me right off

I feel much better !!!
